Our city's xmas tree pick up is betwen Jan. 5-9 on the regular pick day. What does that mean? It means christmas is over. And, it was all based on when the tree will be picked up. The tree went down today.
Our little family kinda skirted around the tree situation by bumming off my parents who put up a tree. We go by there quite frequently so I figure there was no need for us to put one up. hahaha. ok, maybe next year, we will. Afterall, all that holiday decorations will go to waste.
The tree was pretty and lasted since Thanksgiving weekend. Go tree! Go tree food!
As quickly as it went up by the family, the tree quickly went out the door and onto the curbside by just a few of us.
Icicles in the trash. Ornaments, stockings, & lights put away in the storage bin and back in the garage. The furniture was rearranged and returned to its regular spots. Lastly, my dad said, "Hooray, the living room is back."
